Oduor Evans Omondi, born on December 27, 1995, in Mombasa, Kenya; is a South Korean-based hip hop/rap and experimental jazz music artist, better known as MILES Montego (Miles 몬테고). Recently, he has released his latest song titled “Anthem” and has announced the release of a music album before the end of 2022.
How did the idea of making “Anthem” come about?
The idea for “Anthem” came about after I came out of depression after losing my dad, so I was literally talking about how I became cold after the death of my dad, whom I loved so much… his death broke my heart.

Oduor Evans became interested in music when he was 19, participating in music and dance festivals since high school; “I fell in love with Lil Wayne and NBA Youngboy songs, so I was motivated to venture into music because I believed that one day I would be like them”, Miles 몬테고 confesses in an interview with Free Press Info.

He has not yet released a music album, but has acknowledged that he could release one before the end of 2022. MILES Montego has been able to adapt to the evolution of the music industry and its growth thanks to social networks, which it considers to be one of the best promotional tools. His first song, “Anthem” has received more than 51,000 views on YouTube.
MILES 몬테고 has not yet collaborated with any artist, but admits that his dream would be to make remarkable works for artists such as Octopizzo and King Kaká, among others. MILES is also a skilled music producer and has teased what “Lilac,” his upcoming song, will sound like.
My message to all the people who admire me is that they should listen to my music, understand it and live with it because my music speaks the words that my mouth could not pronounce. “Patience pays” when it comes to music, and my advice to future musicians is that they should make music out of passion.
