Daryn Amari Fields, better known as Amari Fields is a 19-year-old rapper, actor, professional model and very influential youtuber; he tells us about his next album in which he will address issues of peace, stopping violence and spreading a positive message through music.

In 2020 he released three hit singles “Love You Dad”, “Rest In Peace Grandma”, “Grind To The Top” with which he reaches about 5,399 monthly listeners on Spotify. “I started creating music at 16 just for fun and I never released anything. However, in 2020 I wanted to make a video on YouTube, joking about how to make music. After releasing the song, people approached me to tell me that my music was good and to continue”, Amari tells us during the interview.
My first album will be out in the next few months. However, my favorite song is called “Love You Dad.”
Amari Fields admits that his biggest inspiration as a music artist is DDG, but he also admires artists like Drake, J Cole, and Michael Jackson. “In my next projects, I have taken a long time to develop my sound”, confesses Amari Fields.
Amari says the hardest part has been getting his name out to new people. In 2009, when he was only seven years old, he auditioned for roles in television shows and movies. The first movie he was in was called Madea’s Big Happy Family, which came out in 2011. Although this role wasn’t great, it still set him up for a successful future. In 2018 he participated in Black Panther, and in 2019 in A Madea Family Funeral.
As an influencer, Daryn Amari Fields entertains her audience with humorous videos, reactions to celebrities or phone jokes. One lesson I learned in the world of music is that you have to be different: “there are many people who try to be like other artists, but finding yourself is what really makes you different.”
I’d say if you have a passion, keep pursuing it. Work hard, never give up, and surround yourself with like-minded people.
